MatraMedia — Design Without the Silos
Building an independent creative practice that brings strategy, design, technology, and storytelling together.
Role
Founder • Creative Director
The Challenge
Bring senior creative thinking and execution together—without the traditional agency silos.
What I Shaped
Brand • Product • Digital • Storytelling
How I Work
Strategy first. Direct collaboration. Design through execution.
The Outcome
A flexible creative practice built on experience, trust, and results.
The Opportunity
After decades working inside agencies, corporations, startups, and technology companies, I wanted to create a different kind of creative practice—one where strategy and execution could live together.
MatraMedia became that practice.
Rather than specializing in a single discipline, I built a flexible model around solving problems: understanding the business, finding the opportunity, and bringing the right combination of design, technology, and storytelling to the work.
The Work
Through MatraMedia, I've partnered with organizations ranging from global enterprises and universities to technology companies and growing startups.
Selected clients:
Siemens · University of Michigan · Clarivate · Brightflag · Travel Automation
The work has spanned brand design, digital experiences, product storytelling, presentations, illustration, content, and creative direction.
Each engagement has been different, but the goal has remained consistent:
Turn complex ideas into clear, compelling experiences.

AI-Assisted Creative Development
My Role
Creative Director → Designer → Strategist → Problem Solver
Rather than simply taking a brief and producing an asset, I became the person connecting the dots—working directly with clients, identifying what they actually needed, developing the strategy, and often taking the work all the way through execution.
The Evolution
Then: Design was often divided into specialties.
Now: AI is making it possible for one experienced designer to explore, prototype, write, visualize, and produce at a much greater speed.
The constant: The value isn't in making more things. It's in knowing what should be made and why.
Looking Back
MatraMedia reinforced something I've learned throughout my career:
Experience becomes more valuable when you can connect the dots.
The technology changes. The tools change. The disciplines continue to converge.
But understanding people, recognizing opportunities, and knowing how to turn an idea into something meaningful—that's the part that doesn't change.
Lessons Learned
Strategy gives creativity direction.
Experience helps solve the right problem.
Flexibility creates opportunity.
AI accelerates the process.
Judgment remains the differentiator.
